1) When do you publish the model's picks for each week?
Our goal is to release the picks as early as possible to allow subscribers the best chance to beat line movement. The point spreads for all games are generally available on Tuesday each week (after the Monday Night game is completed), and the initial injury reports are available from the NFL by 4 p.m. ET each Wednesday. As a result, we incorporate the point spread and initial injury information into the model and target to publish our picks no later than Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
2) How can I see the results of the model's picks for any given week?
The results for the prior week are shown at the bottom of the "Current Picks" page along with the picks for the upcoming week.
We believe in complete transparency, so the results of picks for all prior weeks and years are also shown on the "Past Picks" page. The record for all years are shown on that page and the detailed picks for all weeks in any year can be viewed by clicking on the hyperlinked year on the "Past Picks" page.
3) What lines (point spreads) do you use?
Lines vary from sportsbook to sportsbook, and they also move during the week as action comes in. That's why our picks include the model's prediction on the outcome of the game as well as the line we used. That way you can tell if the pick would still make sense with any line you may see. We typically use the lines from the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas, and we will adjust the lines and picks if there are any significant changes during the week.
4) Why are there more than 5 picks in some weeks?
Some lines will move after we publish our initial picks on Tuesday or Wednesday. If movement in a line creates what the model projects as another significant betting advantage, we may add another game to that week's Current Picks.
5) How can I reach Best Bets Analytics with a question or to address a problem?
Email your question to support@bestbetsanalytics.com and we will address it promptly. We are committed to being responsive to any questions you may have.
6) What is the cost of a subscription?
Current prices for all subscription options can be viewed here.
7) If I am not satisfied, can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. While we are confident that won't be the case, you can cancel your subscription at any time for any reason. If you do cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to our picks through the end of your current subscription period, but the subscription will not renew and there will be no further charges. To cancel, click on the Account icon in the upper right portion of the site heading, select "Manage Memberships", and Under the "Actions" column, click "Cancel".
8) When will picks for other sports become available?
We are hoping to have the MLB model ready for the start of the 2020 season, which is March 26, 2020. Eventually, we plan to expand to include picks for NBA, NHL and analytical insights for fantasy leagues and DFS, but release dates for those models have not been finalized.
Subscribers of our NFL picks will have the opportunity to get our picks for additional leagues at a substantial discount.
